Anybody got a set of nut files they'd like to part with? I had some but I've torn the place apart and can't find them. Someone may have accidently tossed them out when cleaning.

Sorry, not affluent enough. Made a set out of automotive feeler gauges. Best of luck!

You can use tip cleaners for cutting torch. Not as good as nut files, but much cheaper. Comes in holder that has a goodly number, starting at .010 and graduated up in successively larger sizes. Hardware store, welding supply, etc.

Yeah, the feeler gauges cut the slots, and the tip cleaners round-out the bottoms. Pretty good combination, really.

Maybe I am wrong but nut files are only about $20 or so as I look around the net. Someone please enlighten this poor nerd.

Some good ones are running about $70 on FeeBay.

Cheapo's can be had for less but not very good.
I haven't been a ble to find the feeler gage style on Ebay for a while, I use those. I think they were about $40.
