I just purchased a one of a king tenor guitar prototype made in the early 70's...was given to a music store owner by the President of Ovation at the time....I have know idea of value...I play a martin tenor and OME long neck banjo...I am thinking of using it on stage and was looking for advise as to the type of pick-up to install...would I devalue the guitar if I drilled a hole in the bowl and put a jack in????

Hello LJ.

You have a link to a picture of that thing? Never heard of an old tenor Ovation before.
