| Is there a way to repair these without popping out the rivets and doing a full when only the flip latch part is missing? Is there a way to replace the lock or the key if the key is missing? |

Location: Central Massachusetts | by the flip part of the latch, do you mean the lever or the "loop" that clips over the other side? I have a case where somebody has rigged up a coat hanger wire or something similar to replace the loop bit. I can snap a pic if that helps.
I think the key is generic and I'm sure the mothership or somebody here could send a replacement. |

Yes, I meant the loop which is somehow missing from a case I saw so that it wouldn't close, thanks for the reply. A flexing metal loop like from a coat hanger would probably do the job but it sure would be ugly. |

Location: Florence,SC | If it's a tan case, I have the latch part ... don't know if the same latches were used on the other Ovation cases.

Awesome! Does anyone have any tips on how it should be mounted on the lock or if there is a difference in the latches used on different cases? |
