I loved the foil labels too. Wish they would bring them back. Paper on the celebs.

If someone's got an old beater with a foil label in it, I've got an idea on how to make copies, if that someone is willing to trust me with their foil label for a few weeks. (Well, it's gotta travel half way round the world and back.)

Schroeder can vouch for me.

Maybe I shouldn't have added that?

I think it'd be really neat to have foil labels in different metallic tones--a golden-toned one for the guitars with golden tuners, the old foil tone for the chromes, pewter grey, maybe a steeley blue. I mean, if the custom shop will allow us to order the rest of the guitar to our specifications, why not the label? (Preparing to duck the barrage of tomatoes and eggs that is sure to follow......)

I think foil labels on the USA made models would be great. Current labels look cheap

Sounds like a viable business venture to someone with the know-how. It could be extended to other brands and styles.
