There's a 90's model listed on the 'bay, looks to be in great shape. The buy-it-now is $2250. The original retail was $2599, which is a little over $4 grand in today's money, so I'm thinking this is a good investment at least...anybody watching this one?..

If that is Al's red one, I was more than watching it, but not able to buy it right now. Go for it.

I think that's Northcountry's (Randy), the blue and white one. Very pretty guitar. If you're in the market, thats a nice buy.

I think they call that finish 'reverse blue burst'. It's a deep bowl guitar, right?

That's the -7 finish as opposed to the -8 traditional blue burst. I think it's a deep bowl too. Not sure about that though. Pm Northcountry.

I'm thinking it's probably a deep bowl, it would have been a special order otherwise.

Yep Deep bowl, Great guitar. Paid more for it than I am asking, listed it light for a sale this week. Haveing all kinds of questions about shipping to Asia, Europe and one to OZ. I think it will sell at the last minute. Who knows its ebay? crazy market out there now. You want a nice one it has some light fret wear but still about as good as they come. Once this is gone Al's will be the only one around for sale. These are not easy to find no matter how much money you have. If you want one go for it these are good times for buyers.

Funny, how these autions go. It must be most people think that by not bidding and making offers to buy these guitars they will wear a seller down. I have sold three of the four Adamas 1's I had. This is the last of them. I am down to my last buck or something?? I do not understand the logic.
I have had "five" offers to have me end the auction for prices higher then the initial bid but under my BIN. I had one for $1600.00 ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! I told them to Go Piss up a Rope. I have not accepted any of them now you watch this auction go off with no bids. People like this are miserable as far as I am concerned only one of them is from this site and only comes out when an Adamas is on the block to buy cheap and resell in Asia. The rest I do not know. Just wanted to rant a little about my actual experiences with this guitar. Nothing to do with you Steve by the way I appreciate your interest. Just amazing to me that someone will not bid and hope they can save, $50 on a $2200 guitar.........just amazing! Ebay always was weird but I think something is wrong with the Matrix....... it is getting worse and worse all the time. End of Rant. on with the other discussions....

The best thing you can do is just not respond to the offers. If they want it bad enough they'll bid. If not, somebody else will.
