The concept seems to be really good. What do you think? Reviews??

Is this made by someone in the OFC? IF so, any discount to members?

I tried one. I'll try anything once. Though nothing is usually pretty easy for me.

The add says you can take it on and off (multiple) any right handed Ovation guitar, with any electronics configuration. So you'ld only need to own one of these.

"members should definitely get a discount"

That would definitely be a good marketing idea.

I'll email the seller and ask about that.

Who ever makes this thing should team up with the Slip-Grip guy, then you could have both angles covered.

OK... Now, through sheer deduction I think I know what you're referring to.

Oh, forget it. I thought this was another post about nothing. Or at least non-habit forming substances.

Disregard the previous bvince topic. I'd pull it if I could figure out how.
Post about religion & politics. That will get rid of it real fast!

I have that accessory and as goofy as it sounds, it really DOES work. You can laugh and joke about it all you want but this guy is on to something ...

By the way, the photos make it look like it is black metal. It's not. It's high impact plastic. Very stiff but not brittle. Actually it's lind of like the same plastic the ovation bowls are made out of!

I've only tried it on one guitar. It went on my FD14 and it's been on there ever since. I really do like it. It accomplishes the same benfit as the contour bowl.

One issue about leaving it on the guitar full time is that the guitar will not fit in the Ovation case. That's not a problem with my FD14 because I keep it in a nice Gieb case.

I've got one too, but I use it to make my Martins and Taks round.
