Location: west | I am trying my best to become a new Ovation owner and experience all the things I've read here and what I have personally experienced playing a few O's.
BUT OOOPS appears to be standing in the way!
My 1778T was shipped on the 11th and it made it to Baltimore from Alexandria VA. then POOOF! Gone.
Now it is in exception status. The well trained, highly paid unionized geniuses have lost track of it. Maybe even lost it.
If it would have been shipped with Fed Ex GROUND I would be sitting here playing it and most likely telling you guys how nice it is!!
I hate UPS.
Sorry for my rant.... |

and honestly, three days ain't much of a wait... "Exception" just means it didn't get to it's next mark when expected.... |

I ship more boxes every day than most people ship in a lifetime, and in my experience there really isn't a nickels worth of difference between them.
Good luck! Hope it makes it to you soon! |

Location: west | Ice storm - is that what they call frozen precipitation in the east? LOL You ought to see the mud bath we're having out here at 6,000 feet and below.. all the snow is melting and it's rivers of mud.. you don't drive down some roads, you slide... joy we actually have a mud season, officially, and it's started in earnest...
I had an alcoholic beverage and have found a calmer place to be today... still wondering where in the USA my guitar is...
oh well....
