I'm thinking natural wood tops for a "natural" sounding unplugged recording. How can I find a few of the absolutely gorgeous photos that members have taken over the years in that quality (300 bpi or higher)? We need a sexy front shot of a Legend (custom or 1117) and an Elite. Preferably against a plain, solid background? Jeff's model may be harder to match. You can see our gigging guitars here: http://www.sonicbids.com/2/EPK/?epk_id=89995#!photos I'd be really grateful. The dude, Stephen, has a dropbox and all, so it need not be an email hassle.

You can always photoshop them onto a different background. For many of the photos there, I still have the original hi-res images backed up as well.........somewhere......I think......

For a Legend I do have some of the 1117 (now in Italy with Riccardo), but it's a Deluxe Balladeer model and slightly different. The rest are all 1617-1s. The Al DiMeola I can cover, but Jeff's is a challenge. I've had one, but it was black. Closest thing I'd have in a natural to his would be an LX or Book. Feel free to look through the link below and don't forget the graveyard section. There's only one pic of each there, but I have more. Y'all could always swing by and bring the axes. Open invite!

That particular photo is cropped, with some photoshoping of the red blanket in some places where it really wasn't, but it's easy to do. I have originals and it would only take a couple minutes to redo anything anyway. Also, which Legend? There are a few different ones.

I'm thinking of the Book Elite (DSCN0130 and DSCN 0131), the Anniversary Legend (DSCN0021) and the 1581 (DSCN4371). Some of the tuning pegs are buried in the blanket, but those axes are Ovation's finest and, essentially, what we play. Better, in fact, than our actual Legend, Elite etc.! I did the whole CD on the 1581, but for "natural" mojo and matching purposes we may want the Legend.....

I could totally take a couple new ones too... with the headstock in full view.

The request was a full-frontal, high res, against a plain, solid background that is easily distinguishable from the axe (some color not prominent there). Your Anniv. Legend, Book Elite and 1581 are simply prettier cousins of our trusty guitars, so a high-res, high detail Damon job would be deeply appreciated. To be honest, I'm not sure what Stephen the artist has in mind, but I'm glad to let him work his magic. And you too!
