I have just bought an Elite LX which has a great sound, problem is with tuning the B string. It sounds much louder than all other strings. On an open E i tune it ok, play D or A and its too high, and far too loud! Go lower, A and D are OK and open E sounds awful. Ive tried changinging the strings (fitted 11s, but I may try 12s though I dont hold out much hope), swopping machine heads, ran a fine real emmery to remove a slight burr on bridge, its still the same. Any suggestions, this is awful as I just want to enjoy the guitar. B is just too loud. I bought the guitae secod hand, almost new, could it just be a PIG!? Thanks in advance!

Koala 1779 : B is just too loud
---------------------------------------------

That very probably has nothing to do with Tuner/Bridge/Nut etc., could be a construction thing , ( fault / flaw ) , as Electric treble -strings are the same as Acoustics , try a very thin gauge , 09 or something ( B only ) , if that does n`t do it , then have a Luthier look at it , sounds to me as if there is a fault with y`er Axe...Good Luck :)
