He is touring Oz.
I saw an interview with him on TV and he seemed interesting.
Other than "Dead Skunk" don't know much about him.
Is he worth seeing?

He's an absolute pro, his live shows are great. That one novelty hit was never really representative of him, he has 30-odd years of great material to draw from.

Thanks Paul,
There was something about him that I liked.
Just hadn't had any exposure to him.

He sang "Happy Feet" in The Aviator. There's an interview with him in the special features on the DVD. Again, a novelty piece...not really representative of his work. Looked like a lot of fun, though.

He's definitely worth seeing!!

His son, Rufus . . . eh.
(an "acquired taste" - not that there's anything "wrong" w/that)

His daughter, Martha has her moments.

Yes! Go!... He's very entertaining live and lots of great tunes...

(Rufus- does a great cover of Cohen's "Hallelujah" but, Loudon missed the mark with "Rufus Is TitMan" )

Yup, he's worth it. Great lyrics. He's from the Westchester County delta country, just north of NYC (or so he claims to be).
