The only other thing that's changed is the price. Because of this guy's change in fortune, I'll knock a full $300 of the original price. So we are looking at $545 shipped! It's got fresh Lifespan lights on it and is ready to go. If you need a great-looking and even-better-sounding stage or busking guitar, you can't beat this deal. From a few feet away it looks almost new. And the sound is stellar all around! There are lots of photos in the original ad, but here are two from today in my office. One shows how nice it looks next to my custom O's. And the other is a close up of the crack. Thanks for looking everyone, and there may well be more to come, though nothing similar to this one. If I decide to move more, I don't want them competing with each other.

I had a 1667 that eventually ended up with Alison after I got the Al DiMeola, and I miss it terribly. The thing was one of the best sounding Ovations I've ever played. I have no idea why, but they are different than all other Legends because it was a transitional model. They're the FIRST Legend models with a cutaway. They used a deep bowl and literally cut away the lower bout and glued a second piece in to finish the bowl. They did this until they had the new cutaway molds ready. Cool guitar. And great price where it is already. I doubt I sold the 1667 for much less. Edited by Damon67 2013-09-20 8:14 PM

I have my Al DiMeola, but truth be told, the 1667 I had sounded WAY better. This would be an awesome giggin guitar. I put an Op50 in the 1667 and it was my main stage guitar until the AD.

I have scheduled the auction on eBay to begin Tuesday night with no reserve. I will post a link when it goes live.... ....unless of course someone would rather just buy it here?
