| Just picked up my second Ovation, at a local pawn shop. It's a 1990 model 1866 12-string, super-shallow bowl. Other than a tiny finish crack on the top, it's in almost pristine condition. After they bought it, the shop owners discovered that the electronics don't work. (Non-issue for me, since I don't plug in) Got a very good deal on it. Took it home & checked the top, which was starting to sink a little. Started humidifying it right away, and after a few days it came right back.
Even unplugged it sounds remarkably good, considering the shallow bowl.
Now I'm looking at a 1981 Custom Legend.
Somebody stop me...
