Location: Bristol England | Have an opportunity of a Collectors 1999 guitar for a starting bid of $416 including damaged but functional hard case.

Location: Boise, Idaho | I had one that was my first nice Ovation. They are gorgeous, but that Bubinga top is laminated. With that and the mid depth bowl, it won't give you that deep Ovation sound that I really like. They have Optima preamps, which are very good. I sold mine to someone who really liked the looks and plugged in sound. I would think that anything in the upper 3 figures would still be a pretty good deal. |

Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | I always liked the 99C and its close cousin the 02C (African Cherry top). If I had not blundered into a custom bubinga ovation, I would have probably tracked another 99 down by now. I actually liked the acoustic tone of both models. No doubt they were different from other O's, but they sounded darn nice in their own way.
