He had a doubleneck flying V that was made for Brad Gillis when he went to tour with Ozzy after Randy died. Brad grew up in the same town as us. When he left Ozzy to play with Night Ranger, Ozzy auctioned off his guitars at Leo's music in Oakland. Brian's dad bought it for him. The thing weighed a ton. It had one of the original Floyd Rose trems (no fine tuners) on the bottom, and a 12 on the top. I met up with the doubleneck I have now just a few months later.

I bid on a number of Gibson SGs in white on the Bay, then made a few attempts at Ovation, but now I don't have the room and probably don't have the shoulder to hold one. Still, very cool guitars.

| Joined: February 2004 Posts: 2487 | I sold my Rickenbacker Double Neck Bass/6 in Blue a few years ago. It is one of those guitars that I will always wish I kept. Heavy thing but so much fun to play that 4001 bass and they ain't kidding about the attention! It was hard to close the case from all the questions. It was ultimately more guitar than I could afford to own. Randy | ||
