| Well, after spending many years supporting my son's music habit, I finally got my first Ovation today!
It's a Lefty Folklore 6774. Not sure what year it is or much more about it. I have always been infatuated with Ovations since I saw one for the first time back in the 70's (yes, I'm that old and just starting to play!).
But the price for this Made in USA model was pretty much the same that I would have paid for a new Celebrity Left handed model.
So I'm sure that I will have the usual questions about history and the such.
Still, very excited to be a part of the family and look forward to searching through these threads. |

| Thanks for the info! Now the silly question.........Where do I find the serial number? The only number that I see is on the inside. Its a small label attached to the electronics. I wasn't sure if that was for the guitar or the electronics. Once I dig up a flashlight I'll have to see if the numbers line up to the numbers posted. |

(this is a 6773LX)
Next place to look is inside the sound-hole up by the neck-block.
(this is an Academy, but that is where the sticker should be)
We all look forward to photos.

Use the following URL (can't make it a link on an ipad for some reason?) http://ovationfanclub.com/megabbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=32848&posts=1&start=1 I find the second method very easy to follow. You need to hit the 'Reply' button to get the formatting options, not the quick reply box.
