Location: Phoenix | Maybe one day I will actually reconsider and drop big bucks on a VXT. It would be awfully convenient to only have one guitar on stage, instead of hurriedly swapping between the acoustic and electric between songs. Though I'm still having difficulties with the mental concept of playing a $1700 guitar on a gig that pays $100...
So, I see Musicians Friend now lists a VXT-S for a couple hundred bucks cheaper (the VXT has gone up to 1699, gulp.) What's the difference other than a plainer-looking finish? |

I now realize the VXT-S also has P90 pickups instead of humbuckers, I prefer the HB pups myself. |
