I am away from home (the rain will do that to you).
Found a very nice 1121-1 at a pawn shop. Fell for the burst, like tobacco almost.
Serial #009713
Can't find the numbers on "Breaking the code", and the printout is at home. Could be my oldest O (so far)
Would appreciate help.

According to the serial number, the guitar was manufactured in 1972, which would be the first year with the silver foil label.

Thank you bob.
Yes it does indeed have the silver foil label.
Ready for new strings tonight, after making a proper saddle, and much cleaning etc
This process is alwys exciting!

So Cool, Norm.

Made me go dig-out my old 1121-1.
Those Artists are great guitars.

Waiting for pics...

Thank you for sharing my enthusiasm oma.
Too much beer last night, got up early and strung it up this am. I travel with nut files and basic tools, cuz you never know.....came out great! And 4 years on the old Folklore. Wow, 40 years old, and not a crack, just some minor dings in the top, and a finish crack behind the neck/head area after a fall along the way.
Pictures. Yeah, I know.....I see new instructions posted. When I get home this spring, maybe I can sort through that, or hire a Geek. Sometimes the posts are kind of meaningless without pictures, but at 65 maybe I'm running out of braincells.... Love that burst!
