Location: closely held secret | Yes, Gilmour used a 12 string on the original recording. For the '77 tour (I was there) Gilmour played a Strat, and Snowy White played a 12 string... And it was an Ovation!

Depends on if you don't mind a little "interpretation". For older, classic songs, these are nice for 12ers....

Location: Northwest Arkansas | I appreciate it. I had a 12 about 25 years ago and it was a POS. Kinda scared me off them. I like the Takamine. Seems I gravitate to KMC. I've had 6 Takamine's. Mine are Kaman. Old school. If you think of any more post 'em. I ain't got nothin' better to do. |

I usually do something faster before I do something like "TWOTEF". "I Got A Name" by Jim Croce would probably be what I would play if I already had the 12 on. If not "Black Water" by the Doobie Bros. |
