Joined: September 2006 Posts: 10777 Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | Just a few moments ago I had the same problem with a new (to me) guitar. The arrows flashed but the letter didn't appear. I changed the battery and cured the problem. Try that. | ||

Does the guitar work when you plug it into an amp? If not the connection from the pickup to the preamp may be the problem." Joined: March 2005 Posts: 12750 Location: Boise, Idaho | Thanks for the update. I read the previous posts and was surprised that nobody suggested checking for a loose wire. Seems obvious now. Happy for you that it was an easy fix. We all should have dental mirrors in our guitar kits. | ||

I use an auto mechanic mirror because they're larger and are extendable/adjustable. I use a round one that's about 2" in diameter, but they also come is rectangular shape that's about 2" x 3" in size and some even have built-in lights. See: Mechanics Mirrors | ||
