Location: Vancouver, WA | I have had a 12 string Ovation CS255 for a while now, and have been learning on a 6 string Ovation "knock off". I like the super shallow bowl my 12 string has and will most likely be buying a 6868AX model in the near future. I tried playing a contour bowl model, and while I liked it, I am not sure I liked it more than the super shallow bowl guitar. I was going to get a less expensive model, but I wanted to get a solid top. The deeper bowls are not as comfortable for me as my arms are not long enough.
Does this thought process make sense?
Well, that is a little about me. I am sure I will have more questions as time goes on.

What ever process works for you. As long as you like the way it plays and sounds, then go for it. I've always preferred the deep bowl, but there are lots of fans of the shallow bowl.
