Applause AE-128 vs. Ovation Celebrity CC-057 question

Location: Washington DC		Hi everyone,
I'm new here and have a quick question regarding the AE-128 and the CC-057. . .
I have a student that owns an Applause AE-128 super shallow. He interested in buying an Ovation CC-057 Celebrity super shallow model- However, he really likes the neck size, width and feel of the AE128 neck. . .

Can anyone tell me which Ovation Celebrity (either CC-57 or the CC-24) models have the same size neck (both width and height) similar to the Applause. Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Since nobody is answering your question, I will jump in.
That way you won't think that you are being ignored.

I have never played any Applause, and many people here might say the same thing.
We do have some members that like to rescue old Applauses that they find, but I don't know if an AE-128 would be that old.

I used to own a GC-057 which is a similar critter to a CC-057, and it was a nice guitar.
Most Ovation neck feel similar.
After saying that, I must add that many Ovation necks are different, but still feel similar... If that makes any sense.
If your student likes the Applause, he would probably like the Celebrity.
Most Celebrity necks have a 1-11/16 inch nut.

I would recommend that y'all give it a try.
