I have the above and was wondering if anyone knew how many exist in the U.S. and what they are worth now. I have the original hard case with it and it is in excellent condition. Thank you.

If you are referring to the run that was made in 2005, there were approximately 100 made total. The run was supposed to all go to the Japanese market, but six of the guitars were picked up by Lost Art Vintage and sold to US buyers.

I have no clue what they are worth; I haven't seen any change hands in the last few years.

Thanks bobbo, I have seen they are very rare but no one seems to know the real value. Seen on the net the are supposed to go for 200-500 bucks, but guys have them listed for 700+ dollars. Thanks for the info.

My guess is that IF a John Lennon Reissue came available on the market, the owner would probably ask $1200 at a minimum. At least that is what I would expect if I were to sell mine (which I seriously doubt I'd do). Actually, I'd want a couple of thousand to sell mine.

The ones you're seeing for sale are probably the original 1651's ... which are a different beast than the Reissues. I don't think $700 is out of the ballpark for one of those in nice shape.
