Very Nice, nonetheless. That would be a hard one to part with. Beautiful soundboard!

I bought my 1624 in the early 80's new for 850ish. $468 bucks and only the neck is original. Ovation is soooooooooooooooooooooo reasonable on what they charge for custom work or rehabbing a guitar. I called Kim once on a quote and said "are you sure" and he replied, "if it would make you feel better, we can charge more". And for the guitar that I got back, I certainly would have paid it and been as thrilled.
