Location: The South		I just purchased a 1538 12 string. I found it at a local Goodwill store. I think I might have found a treasure and at a very good price. It had a great sound and the best action I have had in my hand. Even if it is not a rare fine it is my new favorite! I am a spounge so soak me with whatever knowledge about this Ovation that you can. I know it is was made in 1984. Would like to know a basic value. It has the factory case. All I did was tune it and start playing. And of course fell in love!

Goodwill huh? Wow. I'd welcome you to the Club, but I'm too green with envy right now. I'll need some time.

 

For info, search around for info on the 1537 through the forum here, and the internet. The 1538 is the 12 string model. They're not found very often because there weren't too many made.

 

Worth is subjective.

Location: The South		Thanks for the replies. I have looked at the 1537 info and wondered about what you said Damon67. I got a pic as my profile but have not figured out how to post a larger one. My subjective worth at this point is more that anyone can pay.
