Al,
Isn't it better if it comes from complete strangers?

I actually think they're kind of cool. I'm 52 so I wouln't personally play one out but...if you have a guitar like this, you can really get the attention of young people and help corrupt them into taking up the guitar. That's exactly what I did with my Orange Flame 1778T. When my 19 year old nephew saw it, he said it was the coolest guitar ever!!! He'd never played before but now, he's been playing for 2 years. He still has my guitar and I'm kind of proud of him. To me, it's just really great to see a young person playing guitar (which takes discipline) rather than just video games and Guitar Hero.

If they had a bolt on/off neck I'd consider.

I kinda like the design on that model... That and the one with the Skull, Heart and Barb Wire.

But, I agree with Mr. Woody.

I was trying to use my filter, but since it's opened up a little... and you are my friend, and I'm grieving the loss of what was Ovation.

It would sure be the right guitar to play at a Halloween party. Of all the DJ ashba demented series models, I think it would be easiest to live with this one.
