Location: Upper Left USA | I just want to add my support for anyone considering this guitar: http://www.ebay.com/itm/OVATION-LIMITED-EDITION-12-FRET-SLOTHEAD-KOA-OVAL-SOUNDHOLE-11-12-RARE-A-E-/221032775669?pt=Guitar&hash=item3376947ff5 That, and to remind y'all I have a Birthday coming up this year... Sure I already have a lot of guitars, even a KoaLAVa 14 ftb. But this one is different! Anyone considering buying this one - you will not find a better Seller and you'd have to look far and wide to get a better deal on a one of a kind (OK, 13 of a kind) custom Ovation. For you Newbs this is a Koa Lost Arts Vintage custom run 12 fret to body aka KOALAVa 12ftb (there are 12 14 ftbs). Waskel has the Factory proto and Alpep had 12 made to the spec. It features the never before seen "Blowhole" enough Koa to warm any room by at least 15 degrees farenheit. I want it - but I choose to pay the rent, etc. |

Years ago i pressed the "BIN" button for one of his "for sale" guitars, and never had anything to regret.
Nice instruments, acurate description, top communication, boxed with care, fast shipping, you couldn't be disappointed.
Have a good sale Mike. |

Mike's a great guy. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy from him.
Woody, while I would love to have the proto, I don't. Through the graciousness of many members here, I was given #8 (I think). In my appreciation for that I will continue to stand by my pledge NOT to post the picture of me playing the proto at the Factory with that stupid grin on my face.
Still by far the most frequently played played guitar I have.
The proto vanished into the bowels of Neverland - though I know for the right combination of limbs and progeny it can be had... |

Great guitars, especially if you like something that is a bit different from the typical Ovation, don't care for epaulets and like stunning wood. You can definitely hear the difference between a koa top and a spruce. |
