Location: So Cal		I am curious because when I purchased mine, it was difficult to even find a 1680. I can only remember one or maybe two that were reported traded or sold on this forum. I will say, it is a keeper. Hard to understand why they went out of production. Wish they made it in a 12 string because I think that would cure my gas issue...for a while anyway.

Location: Germany		One found it's way to my home.  Picked it up in the Netherlands - and will certainly keep it. I think I've read somewhere that 50-100 have been built.

Location: Germany, where delicious wine is growing (Rheinh)		I also have one from a member here. I never regretted this purchase, she will be my ever favorite. I've asked this question, too. The answer was "less than hundred".
