| My first guitar was a Framus accoustic back in the late 60's.
Right now I have a case of level 34 GAS.
Included are three Ovations: One Standard Balladeer and two elites.
I had been shopping for an accoustic guitar as a gift for my son about 10 years ago, and when we were playing through them, Ovations really caught my ear, and I also appreciated the bravery and innovation of the back in an industry where tradition is highly treasured. (He picked out a very nice Godin-made guitar)
There are likely a lot of players here who can relate to the idea that some instruments practically play themselves, that the reward vs. effort is much better for a given guitar and player. In short, Ovation guitars give me the "grins".
