Thought you guys might like an update, I got the guitar in last week and had to drop it off immediately for work, needed the frets dressed and leveled, and a setup very badly, the fretboard was also disgusting and needed a clean very badly. I also got the face of the guitar buffed to remove the signature. I will be replacing the tarnished bridge and doing a headstock repair/refinish at Ovation in the coming months!

Congrats, goodluckpete! I really hoped that signature would bring the price down but as it turned out it sold for even more than when it was listed on Craigslist. Why couldn't it have been some cheap Chinese-made crap for Michael Bolton to sign, right?

Vadim, I was hoping the same thing, looked like it would end low a few hours out but nope. I wasn't planning on going over 1600, but I just couldn't resist, I've wanted one for so long, especially one in black.

I'll update with a thread in the Electric forum when everything is done, and include lots of pictures.
