Showed just enough of it to make my jaw drop! When I found out they were the smallest production run, reality set in ... it's gonna be tough to find and probably a high price tag. But, Hope springs eternal. I found my Ampeg Dan Armstrong Bass in a pawn shop for $200, so anything is possible!

Puppetman aka Dennis Britt died later last year and he will be greatly missed. (image.jpg) (image.jpg) Attachments ---------------- image.jpg (84KB - 0 downloads) image.jpg (138KB - 0 downloads)

Joined: December 2014 Posts: 16 | Oh yes! He loved all of his Ovations. A few were absolutely his favorites. The blue bread winner was the one he was most proud of. He had it completely refurbished back to factory specifications. As the story goes, he was fortunate enough to have contact with one of the folks originally responsible for its production and they provided him with many resources, including original paint, to bring it back to it's like-new condition seen in these photos.
