Location: New jersey | Owned 3 Ovations since 1981,rescued three pre-owned from 3 different GC's in Jan/Feb,now up to six. Can anyone steer me to nylon body Schallers to ease the 'heavy head' of an 1862 Custom Balladeer? The good people at Allparts want a princely sum for them,roughly 1/3 the price of the CB.

Location: New jersey | Thanks all! I'll get the pix up as the weather gets a bit better and I figure out exactly how to get them out of that little camera and onto the computer screen. The other rescued members are an Elite 1778 LX and an 1858 Elite 12. The original family members are a 1617 purchased in '81,a 1617 brownback Nylon from roughly the same time and an age indeterminate Ultra 1515D 12. When the GC bench tech told me that Ovation's "aren't known for low action", I had no choice. I had to free them from bondage and give them a good home. Thanks for the welcome!! |
