| Hi,
I've just got registered today. I have got a problem and I dont know how and the best forum to post it. I recently bought an ovation demented series and I'm having a lot of problems live with a midtone resonance that doesn't go away, especialy when i'm close to the floor monitors... I'm going to buy the Airlocks but I'm still afraid that wont be enough to solve this annoying problem... Can you give me a tip?
Thanks! |

For once, I don't have an answer.....I doubt I could even make one up this time.
Be patient though, others will be along with opinions.....er....I mean....advice. |

As for your issue, sounds like you need a notch filter. I use a Roland AC60 Acoustic Amp as a "pre-amp" before going into the board. It helps me shape my sound, adds a bit of compression, and has a notch filter to get rid of unwanted frequencies.
There are other noth filter solutions, that's just what I use. FWIW, the Airlocks didn't help me in the past. |
