It's a PRS (Paul Reed Smith).

That's the signature Paul Reed Smith Ovation.

Correct. Al's been playing PRS for at least a few years. I've seen him playing them several of his videos. BTW, the PRS is a signature model, but not an Al DiMeola signature model. It's a Paul Reed Smith signature model.

It's a PRS. He plays O's when he plays acoustic.
I have a PRS just like that one hanging in my shop, but in red. Whoever owned it before beat the daylights out of it. I can't understand why anyone would spend that kind of money on a guitar and then treat it so poorly.

It's definitely not an Ovation, but they are very nice guitars.

Bird inlays are a definite PRS giveaway (although only on the higher end models).

Played a few of them, and were very nice to play and have a very fast neck, but they are way out of my price range. I'll stick with my cheap and reliable Godin!

Ditto, though the other guitarist in the band was indeed using the AD Custom Legend (look behind Al)
