My son is looking at an Adamas 1591 BCB cherry burst. I can't seem to find any information about this guitar.

There is a pic on Jerome's website and a short write-up, but that's all I can find. Anyone own one now or previously, or any tips on where to do some research on this guitar would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Ed

That's the center round hole version, right? With a SMT top? They never caught on an they stopped making them for a reason.

I didn't like the one I played at all. YMMV. But from what I've heard from some folks in the know, the center sound hole requires a bracing pattern that sucks all the sound out of the top.

Here's the picture from Jerome's site. But I know next to nothing about this model myself. I'm curious now though.

I've got one in my collection since few month and it's a very good Adamas.
I really love the look of this model based on the Adamas Proto #17.
According what I've learned about it, less than 100 were produced in 1997 only.

I never realized those were actual production guitars. I always thought there were only a couple of prototypes or one-offs. Great history lesson in the sidebar of the ad. Thanks for posting the ad Jerome!

Rededdie, Congrats to your son for a great find!
