You can go directly to "Todays Active Topics" by of course clicking the >>TODAYS ACTIVE TOPICS<< links from the main screen, or from ANY screen by clicking the Ovation Fan Club, Get Plugged In logo at the top of the navigation frame.

You can edit or delete your post by clicking the  icon that appears at the top of any message you post. It is usually to the right of the Profile, Email and other ICONS. |

Actually this is quite simple by just clicking the  button that is at the bottom of where you edit.
If you need a place to "put" your photo's to post them, eMail me at [email]support@ovationfanclub.com[/email] and I will upload them and give you a URL to use. |

This I guess falls into the "tip" category. If you see this message after you made a post, but do not get returned to the thread, don't fret (excuse the pun). When that prompt displays, your post has posted already. Just click BULLETIN BOARD and choose your topic again and you will see your post. This is not a fault in the software but rather a communication issue. Basically, without a bunch of tech talk, The BBS lost track of your browser for a moment. It's the price we pay for a few million people on the net at any given time using a protocal that was inplimented (and basically unchanged since) in the 60's |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | To BOOKMARK the Bulletin Board portion of this site so you don't have to click the menu and navigation all of the time just to read the latest messages.
If you right-click on either the "Bulletin Board" or the "Get Plugged In" logo (see FAQ for more details) on the navigation pane, your browser will provide a list of options. Choose "open in new window." Once the new page is open you can bookmark it or add it to your "favorites." |

There are two options within your user profile to decide if you want to be able to receive "Private Messages" from other members.
Allow members to send you private messages?
and
Be notified by email when someone sends you a private message?

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Update: POST A PICTURE IN YOUR MESSAGE
Actually this is quite simple by just clicking the button that is at the bottom of where you edit.
If you need a place to "put" your photo's to post them, insure you are logged in to the message board. Select "LINKS" from the menu on the left, then select "MEMBER GALLERY."
Currently after upload, you will only be provided a link to your uploaded file for referencing in messages, but soon you will be able to upload pictures to a gallery. This "upload" part of the functionality was in place, so I thought I would share it to help those that do not have their own web space to place pictures. |
