Hey all you Upside-Downers . . .

There's a business opportunity rearing it's head that might have me visiting in the coming year.

I've already made some inquiries but, thought I'd tap the collective wisdom here. . . .

Anyone aware of a good [High] Ropes or [High] Challenge Course in or near one of the main entries?

If so, let me know and I will follow-up.

Be good if you could pay us a visit Jeff. I'll do some hunting around down in Melbourne and see what i can come up with.

Most of the good stuff is in Queenstown NZ across the pond from us.

They do rope climbing on the cliffs near me.
(not what you asked I know)

I think there is a ropes course at MtTamborine or Canungra, about an hour from me.

I'll check it out Jeff

Arfa, we don't have 4 legged birds in Australia. Didn't know you had 'em in the US either.

Jeff, I'm not sure what a high ropes or high challenge course is, but I'll investigate.

Hope you come to Brisbane. There are 3 of us within shouting distance.

Jeff would be good to see you here. If you're coming, AJ needs mules for his guitar smuggling business.

I'm not sure about the high ropes/high challenge thingy, but if you go to Aussie Google and select the "sites from Australia" only, you should be able to find some places offering what you are after. Your main entry ports from the US are Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane. Brisbane has the highest concentration of OFC members. Bizarrely we have none from Sydney, which is the biggest city.

I'll be snooping for contacts in my professional contacts but, Please, don't hesitate to offer your information about possible locales. It will be greatly appreciated

. . . and I will certainly take advantage of my time there (if it happens) to do a bit of OFC biz.

Seems to be quite a bit in The Blue Mountains, which is west of Sydney.

Another one near Sydney.

Don't know if this one is any good for you, but it's got some pretty girls on the website.

Here's one near Melbourne, Victoria.

Sydney (Blue Mountains)

(Not doing very well to get you to visit Brisbane, am I?)

As we'd love to get you to Queensland, here is a link to Queensland Sport and Recreation website. They mention high and low ropes on the page, but no info.

And, best for last, (I hope) Here's one on the Sunshine Coast which is MY stomping grounds. (1+1/2 hours north of Brisbane)

We do have an animal that lays eggs and has a duck's bill - sounds like a bird right?? Well it also has 4 webbed feet, a poisonous spur, is covered in fur, has a pouch for it's young and a tail like your beaver.

Most people call it a platypus - I call it confused :D
