I truly wish your wife a speedy recovery as well. (But I still want to know how the grits turned out.)

A huge thank you to everyone who came. We had BIG fun! Now for some sleep, since we were up playing from Friday evening until Saturday morning around 4:30, up again around nine, then nearly nonstop playing (except for food breaks) until 2:30 this morning. A very special thank you to lady G8r, the love of my life, for all she did to keep everyone well fed, well watered, and happy. YSBT!

Thanks for puttin' us up and puttin' up with us! I had a great time. Played a whole bunch of great guitars and got to jam with a bunch of talented (and modest) people. It was great to see a bunch of old OFC buddies again and meet a bunch more. Thanks to everybody who came, it was great jammin with ya!

A great big thanks to the G8r's for a great time and hospitality, not to mention Jhimli's cooking! Serge, how do you stay so slim?? Thanks to Beal for all the stories and those weird chords he seems to always come up with, to Steve De banjo for the great lessons and show he put on, (ever hear lead played on a banjo?) and to all the rest for just being there for the great time we all had. If anyone ever gets a remote chance to attend a get together from the OFC, don't hesitate a bit. You will be sorry if you don't make it.

Here's what I can remember of it: Friday: Tangy Chicken Curry, guitars 'til 4am Saturday: Shrimp and grits, sausage and pasta, guitars 'til 2am Sunday: French toast and pork BBQ The shrimp & grits stands out as possibly my favorite thing ever. Thanks to the g8rs. And it was a pleasure to meet DeBanjo and our new friend Cathy.

The next thing I know I'm listening to 60 miles worth of his 'wheeler dealer trader' spiel. First for one guitar, then TWO! I was LMAO and he got that SE grin of his. I think he had been a bit depressed that the jam was over. But that call really lifted his spirits. You want to talk about a sick puppy, I meant SICK!!!

Had us a LARGE TIME at GatorBowl 2. Hospitality at the g8r household is unmatched anywhere and the eats were fantastic! Hats off to Lady g8r for some incredible cuisine. Jamming was the best ever and went into ridiculous hours both nights. :D Man it’s hard to quit when you're having that much fun! Thanks g8r for a perfect weekend and thanks to all of my OFC buddies for again reinforcing what I already know to be true. The fact that I am incredibly blessed with some amazing friends. Hoping everyone else is home safe and sound or close to it by now. Otto .

I won't do THAT again. I'm still learning my way around this forum thing, and I'm slower than most.

We got back to the Island at midnight so we went to see Pam and Davis and sat it with them for a tune each. We got back to the house at @ also. To Serge and Jhimli, the best, we love you guys! To all the other attendees, the same. See you next time.

A great BIG THANK YOU to Serge and Jhimli for hosting this event and putting up with all of us! Your hospitality is endless. Jhimli's meals were superb! Great to meet Steve (debanjo) he's a SUPER picker and a great storyteller, and Cathy (Otto's LOHL) a lovely lady and a real trooper....she hung in there till the wee hours each night with all us wild-eyed guitar nuts....... ;) I hope they both had a good time and become regular attendees. THANKS to Keith (WarEagle) for his wonderful original songs and for doin' the drivin' for us SC boyz! Great to see everyone else too!....I'm proud to call y'all friend! Lastly........Thanks to everyone for enduring my ear shatterin', eyes bleedin', (stomach turning? ) attempts at singin'.....hope y'all have a quick recovery! YSBT
