Location: Lisbon, Portugal | Fret edges too sharp and some higher-than-normal frets above the 12th fret... strings choke when bending one tone on some frets and not on others... happens on both necks (yes, I do bend strings on the 12-string neck too).
The Warranty covers for this but you think this is normal on a new guitar?
Poor quality control?
Also, there's a loud "POP" when switching necks... is there a resistor or a capacitor I could solder across the output jack to cure or attenuate this?

Nevertheless, I wouldn't expect too see such a poor fret job on a 1000Euro+ guitar!
My Takamine EC540, also Korea-made, is top notch... |

Location: Latitude 39.56819, Longitude -105.080066 | Well, actually the assumption was made based on availability and not build quality. The US made doublenecks are fairly rare and usually very expensive.
I tend to agree that a guitar should not exhibit the problems you mentioned but I have never played one of the celebrity doublenecks. |
