Be the first on your block with your very own copy of songs from here and there. You can get all of the information you need here: http://ovationfanclub.ning.com/profile/bobbo ... and look under the blog cleverly entitled songs from here and there.

WHAT?!?!?!?
No "Right Field" ?!?!?!?

Bobbo's rendition of this song is simply OUTstanding!
After hearing him at Amelia, I wanted to learn to play it. But I can't even get close to Bobbo's mojo so screw it. On to other things.

I loved that one too, Brad, and I did sit and work it out. The chords took minutes, the mojo's taken ever since. GREAT tune. Sent it to a bunch of my buddies (players all) and they loved it more than I did!

The mojo was developed standing out there amongst the dandelions and dreaming ...

Hmmm... I can't tell if that statement is tinged with sarcasism or not.
Either way, my philosophy is that life is short and there is plenty of lower hanging fruit on the tree.
I'll leave "Right Field" to Bobbo and look for other songs where my own mojo key is a better fit for the lock.

For the same reasons I have no intention of trying to tackle Moody's "Memphis" song.
Oh yes... I could strum the chords and hit the right notes but in my head I'd be hearing Pauls soulful warble and masterful playing.
Oh yes... I could try. I could even play it at an OFC gathering but I know what would happen. I can just picture Dave leaning over and whispering in Cliff's ear, then Cliff leaning over and whispering in Temp's ear. I know what they would be saying. They might think I wouldn't know, but I'd know. They would be saying "Yeah, it's okay and it's brave of him to even try but he's not near as good as Moody."
No.... I think I'll just let that one be.

FWIW ... Brad, I'm sure you could do RF real well. No question about it. I was serious about what I wrote above re: mojo. Anyone and everyone sounds good when they perform music from the inside out. But when you can't get the song to live inside you, that's when you gotta find a different song. Or just become a mechanical player. I prefer letting emotion rule.

Plenty of inside out stuff on songs from here and there. Still a few copies remaining. Act fast.

Now there's a good phrase to commit to memory.

Bobbo - let me be the first to say... WOW!

I received the CD in the mail today. It's playing now - I'm jumping around between songs. I love it! I can't wait to hear the whole thing.

For all of folks who haven't gotten it yet, you are in for a treat!

Thanks for putting this together and making it available to us!

Just got mine today, too, but haven't had a chance to listen yet. I'll give it a ride in the Boxster on the way home. I owe you a beer next time you're in Boise, Bobbo.
For those of you who think that will never happen, Bobbo has actually been to Boise and we met out by the airport. Some people have been to the most remote city in the 48 States.

Listened to most of it on the way home last night and back in this morning. Great job, Bobbo. I was on Wonderful Tonight when I got here this morning. You sound just like Clapton. Lots of variety, too.

I'm beginning to question the Colorado postal service. I am awaiting several "packages" from various benefactors and nothing has shown up yet.
