Prof - you inspired me to do the same... it was a long arduous task, but I finally got it done:

If I had known about this competition earlier, I would have brought my 15W practice amp back from the cabin on Sunday.

Well... I wasn't sure where to post this one, but when I returned home late last night from a grueling business trip, I found this waiting for me:

It is a late Christmas present from my lovely SWMBO. It's the Blues Jr. NOS.

Problems though - it was upside down INSIDE the box, with tubes bouncing all over the place. I have to return it and get it replaced...

I can't wait!

Love those tweeds. The vintage relic reissues are particularly cool in the Blues Deville and Bassman models, and pretty reasonable on the used market. The music store in Fort Collins set Matt up with one of these Jrs. for his fall workshop and when used with the VXT's electric channel, it was beautifully gritty. I looked real hard at both the Deville and Bassman 4x10 models before finally deciding on the Vox with the Celestion blues.

...Proff, Just repeating my offer: If you get tired of lugging the Vox around, I'll happily allow you to give it to me. I'd also pay postage....
