Amps from the bandroom. Guess I'd lost track of the number, some being stuffed in the corners and hidden under a little neon. SWMBO thinks I should be ashamed of myself.

Yeah... unless you are The Who, circa 1970... that's to many amps.

She's right. You should be ashamed of yourself. I'll show my daughter your picture. She'd be impressed. My wife would be concerned about the company I keep.

My sister's band is Loud Neighbor. Maybe she'll sell you the name. And Prof, if you don't have more than one of the same model, you do not have too many. Amps are sorta like guitars that way...

Two Acoustasonic Jrs w/DSP, otherwise, only one model each, excluding the PA speakers. Two big 18" JBL combos wouldn't fit in the picture. I need to learn how to post a larger pic from the other site. I'll give it another try in a bit. All these great amps and the one I use out most frequently is the ADD Cub down front left in front of the old Bandmaster. Its the smallest and easiest to carry.

I'm without an amp and am in the market. I have a 1717 and a 1767. What do you folks recommend that will take one guitar and a mic input? I guess I want about 40watts and easy to haul around. Thanks.

I don't know Prof -- you definitely have a problem. Not all problems are problems though, more like therapy.

Makes me glad I have sold half of mine off!

Hey Prof, what prompted that picture? Decide to clean the band room up a bit.

+1 on the Genz. I like mine. Two channels that mix well, little tilt-back feature, some basic effects. Nice tidy little do all package.

Prof, are those wheels I see on yours? I don't have wheels!

Stephen, I've been thinking about a pic like this ever since Tom posted one of his amps maybe a year ago. It was just a matter of spending some time pulling them out from all the corners and other rehearsal spaces.

Otto, yes, I added the wheels on the Shen Jr. I use this amp in our living room for duets with SWMBO on the piano and guest sing-alongs. I keep it in an entryway closet and the wheels make it easy to move it from room to room on our hardwood floors. I'll probably add wheels to the Vox as well. At over 70 pounds, the Vox is a beast to move around.

Hey Fr Ed - glad to see you finally made it over here. The Genz-Benz are great amps. Contact Al Pepiak if you're looking for one.

Professor, that is an insane collection of amps :D

Proff,

If you don't want to lug the Vox around, let me know. I'll gladly let you give it to me. ;)
