"self,... that is a class act." (hope that translates properly) Since then you have created a wonderful resource, brought the Ovation FanClub and Ovation information to a whole new audience, constantly contribute to our dysfunctional little community, and a few years ago I had the pleasure of meeting you in person. All of this just re-enforced my initial impression that you are a "class act." Thank you for your enthusiasm, thank you for being you.

It's not the same every day and you can trust in me... How could I explain to all the people who are working just beside me why I was so happy?? Of course, they all knows that I'm an Ovation fan because I talking about Ovation every day (they endure my Ovation discussions since years...), my desk if full of Ovation pictures from the last Factory Tour but it's not so easy to share a so big emotion. I didn't have been very productive during all the day because I had so much stuffs in mind like to find the right words to tell you how I'm touched by your kindness and so your kind comments. Sorry I can't because of too much emotion. You probably could not imagine what you've done for me with that gift. More than to bring the proto #11 to life, your friendship is the greatest gift that you make me for the new year. I have been accepted 4 years ago in your family even with my poor English and since that date, I'm living a fantastic adventure that I'll never forget!! The "rebirth" of the proto #11 was one of my greatest dream and I'll do my best with John's advices and the guys at the factory to respect that great guitar. I've got nice ideas in mind and I wish that it will be possible to realize them... ;) Thanks again to all of you!!! I'm proud to be your friend. Jérôme :) PS: a picture of my desk at my office... :D

I'm very familiar with that. My wife mentioned last week that she'd like to visit Paris. I will agree to go only if I can spend some time visiting with you (after you have #11 back, of course).

Just imagine Jerome's work station with last year's Hamer Calendar, this year's OFC Calendar (#1) and a whole lot of redundant Government forms scattered everywhere! Congrats my Friend and this is just the beginning! M(anonymously distinguished)Woody

Did anybody mention that the #11 proto will have to take a worldwide tour once it's refurbished, starting in California? It'll probably come back in worse shape then when it left.....

Believe me or not but I'm fluent in French... ;) Did anybody mention that the #11 proto will have to take a worldwide tour once it's refurbished, starting in California? It'll probably come back in worse shape then when it left..... It is ok but you must notice that you will get the guitar AND me!!! :D I can not imagine not to accompany the proto during all his trip around the world. Of course, I will be happy to make a stop in London to show it to Schroeder too. ;) J :)

Supposedly the name Boise came from French fur traders, so I'm sure it's on all those French travel itineraries. If you still need to trade any furs, I'll have to make special arrangements, though.

I know it's not as nice as say, New Jersey, but a couple hundred thousand people, mostly from California, think it's a good place to live. Maybe if we advertised it as "Only 432 miles across the desert from Portland" more of them would stay in California.
