I'm on the far right playing my S771 and the fellow to my right is playing my Balladeer 12-string. He REALLY likes it and is becoming an Ovation Convert! ....they wouldn't let me play banjo this year..... ...sigh... :(

I've decided that the secret is to get started now and be totally ready when the holiday season arrives. I've got my people already lined up and in agreement to do this next year. We're going to meet about 4 times between now and September to pick tunes and do some general preparing. This should also give us time to learn the tunes (nothing worse than singing to a group of peopl with your head buried in your sheet music). Then in September, we'll start making calls to line up gigs for December and start meeting on a regular basis to fine tune the music. Then we'll play the last 2-3 weeks before Christmas. I'm really hoping this works.......
