I think that with all of the days that people from different origins get off of work that I dont get off that maybe we should make an official OFC date to take the day off of work, what do think???GWB

May 6th - Post Cinco with mayo

I'm all for adding another holiday to the Australian working calendar. One OFC day per month would be a good start.

How 'bout... in tradition with "take your kid," "Ride Your Bike," and similar...

The Official, Take Your Ovation to Work Day!!.

People could post pictures of themselves with their guitar at work. Maybe we'll come up with some cute bauble or at least bragging rights for the most interesting picture-of-you-at-work-with-Ovation-guitar picture.

I'm sure Al and I could be the judges.

Nothing fancy, no fancy rules. We'll pick a day for "The Day" and then create an Album on ning for the pictures. I'll post the email address to send the picture (which posts the pictures) and they'll be a cutoff of a day or two for submission.

Pretty simple... take picture... email it. One picture only..

Now we just need to pick a day for the event.

Since I spend most of my time traveling, it'll have to be a photo of me playing a ukulele in the plane.

Great idea!!!
I'm in.
Let's not pick one specific day tho.
I'd say we just pick a deadline to send in ONE picture.

Everyone send your calendars back to Brad, so he can reissue them with the special day identified on the calendar.

Back in the old days, a friend of mine who worked in playcheck lived nearby so we rode to work together. One day, I had gotten to bed very late the night before and almost slept through the alarm. When I got to his house to pick him up, he said he was sick. I suggested that he call in sick, and I call in tired. "We're sick and tired of working!"

We laughed, and went to work.
