He said he'd be out of town for the following week, but it's been two and a half weeks, and as far as I know, he hasn't been around. I PMed him last Friday and haven't gotten an answer back. Has anyone heard from him?

Thanks for the concern. And the call Bobbo, thanks. I got another call yesterday from the folks over at open mic wondering were I am, so I'm off to go make an appearance and say hello. Not playing though. I haven't really played for a few weeks. I'll post a bit more later.

Get me a phone that acts like a phone instead of a typewriter and a camera with video games. There's no support for the old wive's tale about brain cancer, though. If it were true, we'd all have brain cancer from obsorbing microwaves. The "radiation" doesn't just hang around your cell phone.

The few studies that DID show a link with brain cancer involved people who had been using them for fifteen or twenty years. Either way, I don't have one nor want one. I am always near a land line except when I go to the grocery store. As it is, the phone at the shop rings constantly. A lot of times when I get home, I let the machine take the call. I'm "peopled out" by the time I get home! (Wow, do I sound like a grouch or what?)
