I "spoke" to him last on Dec. 21. He said he'd be out of town for the following week, but it's been two and a half weeks, and as far as I know, he hasn't been around. I PMed him last Friday and haven't gotten an answer back. Has anyone heard from him?

Good question. I'll try to give him a call tomorrow.

I was just wondering the same thing as I was reading the "do you sing" thread. When I met Damon he told me he was worried about singing in public. A few glasses of wine cured that.

Funny thing, I toy with the thought of trying out a Peavey T-60 from time to time and I was looking at the T-60 message board the other day. There was a thread just like this one about him. Somebody said he was probably over at the Ovation site.

Hi all!

I just got back 2 days ago, and I'm trying to unbury from the stacks of real mail, email, and getting bills paid!

Thanks for the concern. And the call Bobbo, thanks.

I got another call yesterday from the folks over at open mic wondering were I am, so I'm off to go make an appearance and say hello. Not playing though. I haven't really played for a few weeks.

I'll post a bit more later.

Thanks for saving me a long distance phone call. There's a couple guitars I'm watching on ebay and I'm likely to be in the doghouse again.

Yes... Some of us Troglodytes still only have copper-wire telephones.

[Cell phones are against my religion. Plus they cause brain cancer and make you sterile!]

I'm with you Arthur. I have a cell phone, but hate them. Get me a phone that acts like a phone instead of a typewriter and a camera with video games.
There's no support for the old wive's tale about brain cancer, though. If it were true, we'd all have brain cancer from obsorbing microwaves. The "radiation" doesn't just hang around your cell phone.

Actually, I heard that the reason there are conflicting studies on this is that many of the studies involved people who had used cell phones for four years or less. The few studies that DID show a link with brain cancer involved people who had been using them for fifteen or twenty years. Either way, I don't have one nor want one. I am always near a land line except when I go to the grocery store. As it is, the phone at the shop rings constantly. A lot of times when I get home, I let the machine take the call. I'm "peopled out" by the time I get home! (Wow, do I sound like a grouch or what?)

As a 24/7/365 Minister, I have to admit the idea has crossed my mind...However, it's not an option...sigh...

How do we know Damon wasn't abducted and this isn't just an impersonation to fool the rest of us? You gotta be really careful these days!
