More than a harmonizer, there's another guitar in there... it almost looks as though he's lip syncing it.

The track may be off a bit or something. His thumbing doesn't seem to synch to the music. The sound trails the action.

Playing & singing style, maybe, but I get an odd (not so friendly) vibe from him. Maybe it's because he's been invited to join this board by more than one member on several occasions and he completely ignores us.

At least I got that part out of the way! :D

BTW, I had sent him an invite also.

Heaven forbid he's too busy playing guitar to spend time on this board.

What's interesting is his song selection, particularly among the one-hit-wonders.

I remember just a little over a year ago when he was getting started...now over 370 video's...I'd say Mark has hit the nail on the head: that is exactly what I was thinking as I looked over his repertory: what I could do musically with the time spent on the board...it does make for some interesting thinking...

Quite a novel idea: actually playing and creating with the guitars we photograph and collect...not that some are not already doing that: for example: Bobbo's CD is really nice...and there are others here who also have the talent to create similar projects...
HHMMMMMM...... ;)

Randy: Thanks for the link. Not so much for that guy but for the way the thread goes to Ricky, later Rick, Nelson. For guys born in the 40's, he was a hero to many. My family used to sit around the TV every week and watch the Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. A lot of us grew up along with Ricky Nelson. I know his later life was a lot different from the character in the program, but I always liked his stuff (except the Fats Domino cover).

Anyway, follow the thread to the one where his three sons do the song together. It's amazing that the youngest son seems to have been the one to inherit his Dad's voice, though his singing is tentative.

Sad story I guess, though I don't read the movie mags.

I like his choice of songs. I bet we went to high school at the same time.
