I really like the looks of the Millennium Adamas. But I didn't know that it was just one of a set of four models. The Millennium was the "Universe" commemorative, and there was also a "Sun", "Earth", and "Moon" commenorative model as well, each in a difference color or construction.
As usual, jerome's website has it covered:

How cool is that?!?! Anyone know how many of each were really made? Anyone have a full set? |

Now that's a set I could be talked into...right after I win the lottery.
BTW, Al has a moon edition that I've been staring at regularly for years! I just didn't realize it was part of a set. Just a little more guitar "lunacy" on my part. (Get it? ) |

My local music store had the wood topped "Moon" model on display. I waited to long & it was gone. Never saw or heard of anything like it again.
That guitar is truly, "The One That Got Away". :(
The picture does not do it justice.
I'd take the wood topped model over the Adamas model in a heartbeat. |

Location: Marlton, NJ | Actually there are 4 models besides the Millennium - The Sun, The Earth, The Moon and The Universe. The one that they show in the brochure as The Universe, has the same specs as the millennium with different epaulets.
I have lusted after these things on and off since I got the Millennium. I got to play Al's moon edition awhile back and it's very nice. |
