Here's a beautiful OM2h.

I own this exact same guitar and I can tell you these are awesome. This is quite a bit less than I paid, by the way.

This would be a really good one to step up to ...

COLLINGS OM2 SUNBURST

I certainly don't post every Collings I see for sale and I personally dislike seeing ebay links here, but this one is really special. If I didn't have this exact one already, it would be AZ bound in a heartbeat. This is GOOD .....

Good price too. I would have expected around 3200.00 for it in a burst. But here again, what do I know.

I convinced the guy who bought my 99 Collector's to check out Collings. Maybe if I talk him into this one, I'll finally get to try one.
He has one of the first PRS guitars for sale, but had a buyer coming over to look at it last night.

If it was a short scale I believe I would break down and cry. Very very nice and at a BIN that is probably 400-600 less than it should be.

In one of life's funny little coincidences I was searching ebay for a mechanical camera for my daughter who is about to start a photography course at school, and after I put OM2 in the search box this very guitar popped up on UK ebay in amongst all the Olympus cameras.
Weird.

Am I allowed to say I don't like Colling's sunbursts?
For that money I wouldn't buy a Collings. Sorry.

Don't like ANY bursts. Probably because my first guitar was a burstoid Stella. That could also explain why I don't like tailpieces, flat fingerboards, open tuners or pickguards. I hated that thing.

If you really like that one I got a deep bodied C10 burst that will knock your socks off.

Pretty much about same price.

That's the one you waited on the special order forever, wasn't it? It is a beauty. I just saw a picture of a Colings OM1 in the latest Acoustic Guitar mag that was all mahog with a burst. Beautiful!

No, the one I was waiting on was a custom OM short scale cutaway sunburst which is why I have the C10 available for sale (+ the fact I have 2 other C10s).

The burst on the C10 might actually be more appealing to most since it is a bit more traditional.

Beautiful guitars, no doubt. Next year I'll probably jump into the deep end. I'm done with O's and A's, and the agreement with SWMBO over the 1538 purchase was that I buy no more guitars in '09. But that leaves next year wide open ;)
