Once again I made the bone headed move of picking up the guitar case without any of the latches secured. I hate that.

Now, I have an attache case that has a little gravity toggle that prevents you from opening the case if it's upside down. How about something similar on guitar cases? Yeah, I know it's up to me to remember to latch it. But when I don't . . .

always put an open beer on the case when you lay it flat on the ground. That way you'll have to remember to move the beer and latch the case before picking it up.

One more reason to hang 'em up instead of storing 'em in cases.
But some do have to case em to take and play em...
