80 is close to average for men but still, you somehow expect everyone to live forever.

I enjoyed a lot of his work.

Maybe cuz I was young, but I watched that show all the time and Never understood it.

Since I was raised on Army bases, being confined to one little town seemed normal to me.

I loved The Prisoner. And the older I get the more I prize anybody in TV who steps out of the box and does something that is both quality and bizarre.

Yes, and the Disney movie: Scarecrow, a Robin Hoody/Scarlett Pimpernel kind of historical fiction.

More recently he was the Pustulent, leperous King of Scotland in Braveheart.

As an actor Patrick McGoohan could really do no wrong, IMO.

Let's see, they seem to drop in threes. Anyone know the health of William Shatner?

Slipkid,
Has it ever been definitively established whether John Drake and Number 6 were the same person? It's been debated for 40 years, but McGoohan always denied it, of course...

And what's the buzz on the remake?

Actually, he played Edward I (Longshanks). Ian Bannen played the leper.
